Beginning of the Year Events

Whether you're new to campus or your coming back we want to invite you to check out what's happening in the first couple of months of the new year! Of course it's all on our google calendar so feel free to subscribe and see it all there.

Saturday, Aug 21 - Salem Move-in: For those of you arriving on campus for the first time, even just hanging out with nothing to do -- swing by our table!

Saturday, Aug 21 - WFU Campus Ministry night: We'll be chillin' at Bensen, 3rd floor.  9-11pm.  Come, show your support and be a part of welcoming new faces to our little community.

Tuesday, Aug 30 - FIRST EMMAUS (7:30pm): Welcome and welcome back! Let's get together. Ooh...how about tuesday!? Sweet.

Tuesday, Aug 30 - Emmaus Lunch at WFU (11-11:52a) - This is just the first one of the semester. We'll do it again the next week. And the next. And so on and so forth.

Tuesday, Sept 6 - WFU Activity Fair: (5-7pm) Sure, there's a lot to get plugged into. So we'll be there cheering you on as you bounce from table to table trying to figure out which a cappella group to try out for.

[see homepage for rain plan relocation.] Tuesday, Sept 6 - Salem College Ice Cream (6:43-7:14pm): Wouldn't it be great if we had a place we could meet up at and share some frozen treats and then catch a ride to Emmaus? Sweet. Location: Main Hall.

Thursday, Sept 15 - Matthew Smith & Indelible Grace: 7pm. Church, B100. Admission is FREE. Enjoy and celerate Christ through lyrics older than your great-grandma...but combined with a heaping tablespoon of modern music. Visit http://www.matthewsmith.us to listen.

Sept 30-Oct 2 - "Little Pretty" vs the "BIG UGLY": For women, the LP is a chance to get slightly rugged but mostly get away and play competive card games.  For dudes...the Big Ug is all about sprouting chest hair and throwing hatchets.  Same weekend, different locations.  It's about to get real.
