GET INVOLVED
[emmaus]
worship team
If you can play, sing, and/or snap your fingers, we want you! Contact Josh Dewitt at dewijc7@wfu.edu if you're interested.
roadies
Do you like being behind the scenes? Are you able-bodied? We want you! Roadies serve by helping set up and tear down Emmaus each week. They're also the ones who run sound, computers, and all things techy. Contact Kyle Taura at taurkr6@wfu.edu.
prayer and encouragement
More to come on this one!
[bible study]
freshman
These bible studies are designed specifically for freshman to get to know one another and share in this time of transition, while studying the word. They are led by emmaus staff or older students.
upperclassmen
Depth groups are upperclassmen bible studies led by older, wiser members of our church. They meet weekly and include time to catch up on life and pray together, as well as time to dig deeper into the scriptures.
If you're getting involved in the middle of the year, there are still opportunities for Bible study. emmaus@1stpres.com.

International Opportunities
We're going to the Dominican Republic for SB2k10 (thats spring break '10)! We'll be working with Mission Emanuel, a ministry that is invested in the town of Cielo (pronounced "see-AY-lo", meaning "sky, heaven"). Choose your venue of service - construction, working in the clinic, visiting families in the town, hanging out with awesome Dominican kids and many other ways! Visit the Mission Emanuel website and contact us if you're interested at emmaus@1stpres.com.
