Pastor's Catch-All Class Wednesdays 6:20 - 7:20 pm (same class on Sundays in Sanctuary at 10am) Teachers: Amy & Harry Are we reading the same book? We believe that Scripture is God's Word to us, the way we know about what to believe and how to live life. That makes it simple, right? We just read the Bible and then do what it says. Not quite. Even when two people believe Scripture is God's word they can each read the same passage and come out with different understandings of what it means and how to apply it. In the Pastor's Catch-All class, we'll be learning about how to reach Scripture through actual "test cases." Drop in any Sunday or Wednesday! 11/2 "Love your neighbor as yourself, and don't wear polyester" (Leviticus 19). Which laws apply to us today, and how do we figure that out? 11/9 "Trouble pursues the sinner, but he righteous are rewarded with good things" (Proverbs 13). But life doesn't always work that way. Is the Bible wrong, or am I missing something? (Last Wednesday class until 2012)
