FALL 2011 CLASSES All classes meet Sundays 10:00-11:00am

PASTOR'S CATCH-ALL (Sanctuary) + Flexible class, drop in any Sunday + Topics and teachers will rotate, depending on what we need as a church. + Identical class will be offered Wednesdays 6:20-7:20pm, A-211 thru 11/9. November topic: Are we reading the same book? Teachers: Amy & Harry
Eagle's Wings (Fellowship Hall) + Topic: Rotates through an alternating study of Old and New Testament books of the Bible. + Format: Class of diverse ages which opens with worship and prayer, followed by Bible teaching in lecture format. An emphasis is placed on community (shared worship with mutual prayer and support) along with biblical study. all stages of the spiritual journey. Table Talk & Listen (moved to A-220) + Topic: The sermon text of the day. + Format: Class begins with sharing prayer requests, praying for one another, and then engages in discussion-style Bible study led by prepared facilitator. + Participants: Open to singles & couples of all ages. Students of the Word (A-208) + Topic: Rotates through Old and New Testament books of the Bible. + Format: A prepared facilitator guides discussion and application of Scripture text. more. Covenant Class (A-211)
+ Topic: various + Format: Guest teachers are invited to share with the class using various formats. Wanderers (A-215) +Format: Video based lesson followed by discussion (with Starbucks coffee in the room!) +Participants: Mostly, we are parents with elementary-age children, but all are welcome. Adult Bible Study (A-216) + Topic: Rotates study of Scripture text and Biblical topics. + Format: An in-depth and interactive study led by prepared facilitator. + Participants: Open to all ages with a focus on adults with 50 years or more of wisdom. Pathway (A-217) + Topic: Biblical principles using topical study and Scripture. application of Biblical study. Discipleship Class (A-219)
+ Topics: Alternates Old and New Testament book study with occasional topical Bible study. + Format: Each participant may study the selected text during the week to engage in small-group discussion on Sunday, led by rotating facilitators from the class. Small Group studying The Truth Project (A-222) + Sept 11 - Dec 18 + Video-based lesson followed by discussion.
Women's Class (B-209, 2nd floor of Office Bldg B) + Format: Women of all ages studying scripture and discussing Christian living. Got questions? contact Suzanne at sclark1116@aol.com
Foundations (moved to A-207, Chapel Lounge) +Format: We dig into and discuss Biblically based topical studies (ex: marriage, parenting, discipleship) +Participants: Mostly, we are parents with very young children, but all are welcome. Journey (C-211, 2nd floor of Worship Center) + Format: Bible based teaching with opportunity, but no pressure, to share and discuss. + Participants: Open to all adults; mostly we are in our 20’s and 30’s. We’ll journey through Scripture together and have some great discussion about how Scripture applies to our unique spiritual journeys.
