Mission Trips
We believe short term mission trips open our eyes to the needs of the world and take the focus off ourselves. Going on a mission trip is an opportunity to grow closer to God and other people while serving those less fortunate and learning about another culture. First Presbyterian is a place that values leaving our comfort zones and stretching our faith. Take a look at our mission trip information and some of the pictures of recent trips. Youth Trips Info:
High School: alternate between the Dominican Republic (2011) & somewhere domestically (2010). Anyone who finished 9-12 grade the year before can go. Contact Marissa Joyce at 723-1621 x246 or email her. Middle school: alternate between Washington, DC (2011) & Pittsburgh (2010). Anyone who finished grades 6-8 the year before can go. Contact Sam Fornecker at 723-1621 x 293 or email him. Both trips have informational meetings in January to get more details. Fund raisers are available for both as well. We never want anyone not to participate due to finances. College Trips Info:
College Students: go to the Dominican Republic every year in early March. There will occasionally be a trip in late December or early January, if the need is there. Contact Justin Lewis at 723-1621 x 245 or email him for more info.

Dominican Republic: This is an annual trip for anyone. If you'd like more information on this opportunity please contact Jeff White at 723-1621 x235 or email him. * Scholarships are often available – approved by the Missions Committee. * Trips will include meetings prior to each trip to help you prepare for the experience.
