Men's ministry at First Presbyterian Church encourages men to embrace their unique call in service to God. God calls each of us, and each call is unique. We desire to grow in our relationship with Christ and build community among men both within and outside the walls of the Church. We celebrate that walking with Christ is a life-long adventure full of opportunities for each of us to learn man-of-Christ living.
In the broadest sense, the Ministry includes opportunities where men are instructing, challenging, nurturing, and loving one another with Biblical truth and the search for deeper relationships with Christ. We offer these opportunities as a response to scripture's call to be held accountable, come together in community, and build each other up.
The Ministry consists of various opportunities for men to connect and live life together, whether that be engaging in weekly events, small groups, large groups, outdoor activities or other gatherings. Please join us -- no membership is required and everyone is qualified! Our events are open to any man and are often comprised of men from other churches and denominations, drawn together by Christ, and the desire to know Him better.
Men's Ministry Programming
Tuesday AM (September-April)
Breakfast at 6:30 AM and program at 6:50 AM at First Presbyterian Church in Building A. We gather in the Fellowship Hall to enjoy breakfast together, hear teaching, spend time in discussion groups, and pray.
Spring 2012 will focus on Genesis and God's plan to repair and save a broken world.
