Adult Sunday School Classes at First Presbyterian
SPRING 2012 CLASSES All classes meet Sundays 10:00-11:00am in the Sanctuary
Pastors’ Catch All Class, Spring 2012: The Fellowship THEOLOGY PROJECT
Did God make one soul mate for me? What if I’m married to the wrong one?
Do I have to be a pastor to be a faithful Christian? What about an artist, lawyer, teacher…..?
Predestination? Really! Why share the gospel? Why pray? Why try?
What all do I have to do for God to get on the good list, and keep the rest of me to me?
Why does it matter what we do with our bodies?
These are only a sampling of the questions that we’ll be exploring in the Pastor’s Catch all class this spring. The answers to these questions depend on what we believe about God, ourselves, and our world – on our theology! When it comes right down to it, theology – what we believe as Christians – is at the heart of the shake-up in our denomination as well. Which is why we are going to spend time digging in using The Fellowship of Presbyterians Theology Project Document. The class will be taught by Amy Holloway and occasional guest teacher. Each class will stand alone, so you can drop in any Sunday or Wednesday as you are able and interested.
